Does God notice me?

Does God notice me?

As I have been preparing for this weekend’s message I have been struck once again by how God fully notices us.

Think about that for a moment. He longs to fill our souls with Living Water and satisfaction that can only come from Him. This world and the things in it will leave us empty, but God is calling for us to return to Him and to have our thirst quenched.

God sees us. In our struggles, our temptations, our broken hearts, and our desperate cries. He sees us and He meets us in that place. God cares deeply for us and He promises to be near us and to always protect us. It is His heart that you return to Him.

God hears us. He hears us when we cry, when we come to Him in prayer. He wants to hear our heart, honestly and sincerely. He wants to meet us and sit with us in our pain, so that He can comfort, and strengthen us in your weakness, in the good times, and in the bad.

God heals us. God speaks through His Word over us. Words of life, hope, and healing. Jesus chose to come live in our broken world, and to feel everything we feel so that He would be able to relate to us and to understand the pain we experience. Because Jesus went to the cross, and bore our sin upon His shoulders, we can be healed.

What an awesome God, not only does He fully love us but He sees us, hears us and heals us and the same Spirit that raised Him from the dead has been given to us as we remember Pentecost.

Thank you God for your love and faithfulness.
