SCATTERED SERVANTS: UNLEASING THE CHURCH TO BRING LIFE TO THE CITY By Alan Scott

Alan Scott is an old friend of ours. We have known him for many years and had the privilege of ministering alongside him on many occasions. He has been a leader in the wider Vineyard Movement for many years. Having lead Causeway Coast Vineyard up until a few years ago. He and his wife Kathryn are now leading Anaheim Vineyard in California.

Causeway Coast Vineyard was the home of the Healing on the Streets movement and a place where God has moved powerfully in recent years.

This book is very readable, with one very profound idea at its heart: What if the church didn’t exist to be a lovely club, but chose instead, to partner with God, in stepping out into our communities, to bring the life of Jesus and the good news of the kingdom of God, to those that are hurting.

It reminds us that when believers became scattered servants, the Holy Spirt will equip them to advance the kingdom and change lives through their hearts and hands.

We recommend this as a good read!
